Open Water Swim and Transition Clinics for Triathletes
Would you like to do a triathlon, but you’re not sure of open water swimming? These clinics teach the fundamentals of open water swimming as they relate to successful triathlon racing. Learn efficient ins and outs of the water, sighting and swimming in a straight line, methods to manage nervousness or panic in the open water, and strategies for smart racing. All this will make you a safer swimmer, a faster swimmer and a confident swimmer.
Each clinic includes coaching on efficient transition strategies and triathlon equipment overview. Clinics are taught in a fun and entertaining format at the race site for the Pacific Coast Triathlon, but are applicable to all triathlons you may do this season.
Don’t have a wetsuit yet? We can provide one to borrow or rent for the clinic and practice. Contact the coach if you want this option.
